Coaching Journey 🙏

The idea of partnership in coaching appeals to me. Sometimes I feel over-privileged to partner with coachees in their coaching journey. Somehow, like is often the case with coaching, I feel I gain equally from the conversations, the partnership. The learning is mutual. I often exit a sound coaching conversation as a better person than before.

I like the ICF definition of coaching. I think it is spot-on:

The International Coaching Federation (ICF) defines coaching as partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential.

A coaching conversation is nurturing, dynamic, and challenging. When trust is accompanied by the aforesaid and the coachee allows himself to dig deep, to find the core, the outcome is often transformational. The energy in the room or “Zoom room” after a coaching session is always higher than before.

To see other people take-off and gain clarity feels magical, to be honest.

The root of this output is my strength, Catalyst which serves me well being a Coach.

Strengths Profile defines this Catalyst strengths as follows.

  • You can motivate others to work on things that otherwise they might never have done.

  • You have the potential to inspire other people to take part in a range of activities and projects.

  • You enjoy getting new projects off the ground and putting ideas into action by involving others.

I'm thankful for this strength and being able to apply it to my coachees. Even more grateful for the coachees I've worked with for the past 7 years. Here's to you 🙏 - To those of you that have not embarked on a coaching journey yet, I would love to give back by offering a free discovery session with me. Here is my booking calendar. Feel free to reserve your 60 min.

Looking forward to travelling with you.
